Job Duties:This position reports to the Warden. Performs complex administrative support work. Work involves providing administrative support including disseminating information; assisting with maintaining filing systems; and preparing and editing reports and documents. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.You'd be a GOOD fit if:You have knowledge of office practices and procedures, as well as business terminology, spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Familiarity with agency or departmental structures, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are preferred, and your ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely further supports your success in this position.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have strong skills coordinating with staff, officials, agencies, and the public, as well as the ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Your experience using computers and related equipment in both standalone and networked environments, along with your ability to prepare and maintain accurate records, files, and reports, further strengthens your qualifications. Additionally, typing 45 words per minute with no more than 10 errors supports efficiency and reliability in this position.
