The Manufacturing Technician will build and integrate complex capital equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring that all systems meet strict precision, quality, and reliability standards. This role focuses on executing detailed mechanical, electrical, and fluid system installations based on engineering drawings and CAD models, while diagnosing and resolving integration, wiring, and fitment issues. The technician will work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to support continuous product and process improvement and maintain accurate documentation throughout the build and integration process.
Responsibilities
Build and integrate complex capital equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Execute detailed mechanical, electrical, and fluid system installations, ensuring proper fitment and alignment of all components.
Interpret and apply engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics to guide assembly and integration activities.
Diagnose and resolve integration, wiring, and fitment issues during equipment build and installation.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with engineering on continuous product and process improvement initiatives.
Partner with engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure equipment meets precision, quality, and reliability requirements.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation related to assembly procedures, modifications, and integration activities.
Utilize SAP or other ERP systems to track work orders, parts, and documentation associated with equipment builds.
Follow established manufacturing processes and standards suitable for regulated environments such as semiconductor, aerospace, or medical device manufacturing.
Essential Skills
2-5+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as semiconductor, aerospace, or medical device.
Hands-on manufacturing and assembly experience with complex mechanical and electrical systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.
Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics.
Experience using SolidWorks or other CAD tools in support of manufacturing and assembly activities.
Proficiency in working with mechanical, electrical, and fluid components during equipment integration.
Ability to diagnose integration, wiring, and fitment issues and implement effective solutions.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems to support manufacturing operations.
Attention to detail and commitment to precision, quality, and reliability in all work.
Effective collaboration skills for working with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
Experience in environments that follow strict regulatory and quality standards.
Familiarity with continuous improvement practices in manufacturing settings.
Comfort working with detailed documentation and maintaining accurate records of work performed.
Ability to adapt to evolving processes and support product and process optimization efforts.
Work Environment
This role operates within a regulated manufacturing environment that may support industries such as semiconductor, aerospace, or medical devices. The position offers openings on both first and second shift, with typical hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for first shift and 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for second shift. Work involves hands-on assembly and integration of complex capital equipment using engineering drawings, CAD tools such as SolidWorks, schematics, and ERP systems like SAP. The environment emphasizes precision, quality, reliability, and close collaboration with engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams.

This is a Contract position based out of Horsham, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
