Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a pediatric clinical setting in Houston, TX. The Medical Assistant will support providers with pediatric patient care, including rooming, obtaining vital signs, documenting HPI, administering pediatric injections, and performing related clinical and clerical duties.

Location: Houston, TX 77070

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Hours: 40 hours/week with a 1-hour unpaid lunch

Pay: $ 24.30/hour

Key Responsibilities

Room pediatric patients and prepare them for provider examinations.

Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs.

Gather and document History of Present Illness (HPI) and other relevant patient information.

Assist providers with pediatric examinations and routine clinical procedures.

Administer pediatric injections within the appropriate scope of practice.

Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary supplies and equipment are available.

Perform basic clinical and clerical duties to support daily clinic operations.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic or other EMR system .

Follow established clinical, safety, infection-control, and patient-care protocols.

Communicate effectively with pediatric patients, parents/guardians, providers, and other healthcare team members.

Provide compassionate, professional service in a busy pediatric environment.

Required Qualifications

Current CMA certification

Current BLS certification

Pediatric Medical Assistant experience is required .

Strong clinical and patient-care skills.

Ability to work effectively with children and their parents/guardians.

Experience with an EMR system preferred; Epic experience is a plus .

Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Pay Details: $24.34 per hour
