What You'll Do
As a key member of our manufacturing team, you'll take ownership of production builds from start to finish, ensuring our drones and supporting systems meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
In This Role, You Will:
Own assigned production work from initial assembly through final testing and documentation.
Build and integrate mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems according to approved manufacturing instructions and engineering specifications.
Perform complex assemblies independently using schematics, engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and integration issues, performing repairs, rework, and validation activities as needed.
Support proto@type builds, new product introductions, and process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to provide feedback that improves products and processes.
Identify production blockers quickly and drive timely resolution to keep builds on schedule.
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure products meet strict quality and safety requirements.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, precision measurement equipment, and assembly fixtures to produce world-class hardware.
Maintain detailed manufacturing records and ensure all work is accurately documented.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in manufacturing, prototyping, electromechanical assembly, or a related production environment.
Experience assembling mechanical and PCB-based systems.
Proficiency with hand and power tools including torque drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and related equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Experience with wiring, cable routing, harness installation, and torque-controlled fastening.
Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Basic computer proficiency using MacOS and/or Microsoft applications.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Soldering experience.
Experience working with sheet metal or tube-frame assemblies.
Aerospace, robotics, UAV, automotive, or advanced manufacturing experience.
Experience supporting proto@type or NPI builds in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
