Summary The position of the Program Manager has senior management responsibility for managing the front end of the business operations of a consolidated business unit consisting of the hospital functions of multiple facilities that include the intake of patients, insurance verification, billing, and customer service. Responsibilities Major Duties: Manages a business unit consisting of the hospital functions of multiple facilities that are responsible for the intake of patients, insurance verification, billing, customer service, and performance reporting. Controls the operational unit of the CPAC, that is designed to match to the process requirements for efficient delivery of results. Supports the overall CPAC performance and has responsibility for delivering service and revenue results that meet the expectations of the CPAC CEO, VISN and CC executive management. Collects revenue for all the facilities assigned to the CPAC and must organize and control the CPAC employees located in each facility as well as the operational staff located within the CPAC. Supports an effective compliance program that trains employees in the proper execution of their duties and motivates them to comply with all laws, rules and regulations. Qualifications To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 08/21/2026. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-14 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-13. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.
