Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description
The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations by handling inventory, managing shipping and receiving activities, and assisting with machine setup. This role serves as a flexible utility player who can move between different teams and tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly in a small printing and manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Support daily warehouse operations by assisting broadly with inventory, management, and shipping and receiving activities.
Perform material handling tasks, including moving, staging, and organizing products and materials safely and efficiently.
Use RF scanners to pick, pack, and track inventory accurately throughout the warehouse.
Assist with inventory control by counting, organizing, and monitoring stock levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
Handle shipping and receiving duties, including checking in incoming materials and preparing outgoing orders for shipment.
Operate a forklift to move pallets and materials within the warehouse in a safe and controlled manner.
Help set up machines for operation by preparing materials and ensuring equipment is ready for production.
Float between different teams and work areas to support changing operational needs and priorities.
Follow established processes and safety procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Essential Skills
Proven forklift experience and ability to operate a forklift safely in a warehouse environment.
Hands-on inventory management experience, including inventory control and stock handling.
Material handling experience in a warehouse or similar operational setting.
Proficiency using RF scanners for picking, packing, and inventory tracking.
Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including handling incoming and outgoing goods.
Ability to perform picking and packing tasks accurately and efficiently.
Flexibility to work as a utility player and support multiple teams and tasks as needed.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a printing or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Comfort working in a small, collaborative team setting.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Work Environment
This role is based in a small printing and manufacturing facility with an active warehouse environment. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
