OEM Sales Manager - Industrial Solutions/Off-Highway - Mid/NorthEast Region
Job Description
In this role as an OEM Sales Manager for the Industrial Solutions and Off-Highway Verticals under CES Americas segment, you will be responsible for managing all ongoing business requirements for existing customers across the full product portfolio, while simultaneously driving new growth opportunities with both existing and new customers.
The sales region will primarily cover Mid/Northeast Region: Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Management, Business Development & Customer Growth
Serve as the primary commercial representative for OEM customers within the Industrial Solutions and Off-Highway markets in Northeast Region, responsible for customer interface, leading all customer-related activities, communications, requirements (including pricing, contract negotiations, forecasting, product introductions & issue resolution), and overall customer satisfaction.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with existing accounts by expanding product penetration across the full portfolio.
Prospect, establish, and develop new business within the Industrial Solutions and Off-Highway verticals by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineering teams, purchasing organizations, and executive stakeholders within customer accounts.
Drive customer retention through exceptional account management practices and proactive engagement such as conducting regular business reviews with customers to ensure alignment on strategic objectives, performance metrics, and growth opportunities.
Acts as a critical internal and external liaison, representing the needs of existing and future customers while maintaining a strong focus on revenue generation, market expansion, and effective cross-functional coordination.
Building and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships with current and future customers by understanding their short- and long-term requirements and consistently providing value within our products and services to our OEM customers.
Provide product & technical training for distributors, customers, and internal sales teams to enhance product knowledge and application expertise on hydraulic applications.
Sales Strategy & Execution Discipline
Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, territory strategies, and customer engagement plans.
Accountable for achieving sales and margin targets with the primary goal of year over year profitable sales growth through lead generation and new customer acquisition. Lead opportunity pipelines from identification through quotation, negotiation, and successful award.
Assist in the development of business proposals, quotations, contract negotiations, and account strategies to secure new business and strengthen existing partnerships.
Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Customer Service, Operations, and Application Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast through CRM systems and sales management processes.
Conduct & support customer visits, new product launches, product demonstrations, training sessions, promotional initiatives and technical presentations to strengthen customer relationships, drive product adoption, and enhance ContiTech's market position and customer value proposition.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, pricing guidelines, and contractual requirements while conducting business activities.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical discipline, 3+ years of OEM sales experience within the industrial/hydraulic hose manufacturing market (or minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience if no degree).
Strong background in sales, customer relationship management, and business development with proven ability to develop new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term customers.
Demonstrated success managing complex customer relationships and growing revenue within industrial, manufacturing, transportation, heavy equipment, or off-highway markets.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and sales forecasting.
Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
Familiarity with Sales Processes and CRM, specifically Salesforce.
Ability to travel 50% or more throughout the United States, including overnight travel.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
No relocation provide for this role. Candidate needs to reside within Mid/NorthEast Region.
