Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description
This role focuses on accurately picking and preparing orders in a busy warehouse environment. You will operate a motorized pallet jack and other material handling equipment, using a tablet and RF scanner to locate, select, and deliver products to the shipping area. Order accuracy and efficient order fulfillment are critical to success in this position.
Responsibilities
Pick and prepare customer orders in the warehouse with a strong focus on accuracy and speed.
Operate a motorized pallet jack to move product safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
Use a tablet and RF scanner to locate, select, and confirm products according to order specifications.
Transport selected products to the shipping area for final processing and shipment.
Operate stand-up and clamp forklifts when needed to handle pallets and larger loads.
Follow established warehouse processes, including order selection, scanning, and documentation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in an industrial warehouse environment.
Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating warehouse equipment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment targets and timelines.
Be available for overtime as needed to support production and shipping demands.
Essential Skills
Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.
Hands-on experience using clamp forklifts to handle and move palletized or large products.
Ability to safely operate a motorized pallet jack or electric pallet jack (EPJ).
Familiarity with sit-down forklift operation is highly beneficial.
Experience using RF scanners to locate, pick, and confirm inventory and orders.
Comfort working with tablets or handheld devices for order selection and tracking.
Basic computer skills to navigate warehouse systems and input data accurately.
Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar inventory software.
Strong attention to detail to ensure high order accuracy and minimize picking errors.
Ability to work Monday through Friday on a first shift schedule (approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) with openness to overtime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience as an order selector or warehouse picker.
Experience in a large industrial or manufacturing complex.
Comfort working in environments that are not climate controlled.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large, clean industrial warehouse complex with multiple plants on-site. The facility is not climate controlled, so temperatures vary with the seasons. You will work primarily Monday through Friday on a first shift schedule, typically around 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the expectation of overtime when needed. Daily work involves using material handling equipment such as stand-up forklifts, clamp forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and motorized or electric pallet jacks, along with tablets and RF scanners connected to a Warehouse Management System. The environment is fast-paced and safety-focused, with clear processes for order picking, scanning, and shipping.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
