We'relooking for peoplewho put their innovationtowork to advance our success - and their own.Join an organizationthat ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.As a Manufacturing Operator, you are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining select progressive die press machines, auxiliary equipment, saws, assembly tables, specific automated machinery, specificCadweld/Flashweld/ brazing equipment and other miscellaneous manufacturing tooling to safely produce quality products of varying material according to blueprint specifications.nVentexpects you to adhere to all safe work procedures and to create parts up to thehighest ofquality standards. Compensation: Up to $40.00/hr WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION :

Sets up andoperatesheavy-duty power equipment to bend, form, stretch and straighten a variety of products / materials such as plates, extrusions, structural shapes, etc. as specified by blueprints, layout, and templates.??

Perform dutiesrequiredtoassistsetup andoperatemultiple?automatic and/or multi-slide equipmentperformsimultaneous processes for a variety of products.?

Ability to understand and work from drawings, order / route sheets, schedules, written, and verbal instructions.?

Check material for correct size, @type, identification,configurationand color.?

Assistwith set-up of dies,movableand stationary equipment, forming blocks,adjuststroke and feed as needed.?

Competentusemicrometers, calipers, scales, tape measures,calculatorsand fixed gauges to check work in process and ensure adherence to specifications.?

Move materials in the performance of duties usingpalletjack, lifttruckor crane (if PIT qualified) as necessary.?

Install and check safety devices as needed for specific jobs.?

Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor or otherappropriate resources.?

Observe and adhere to all prescribed safety rules and regulations andmaintainworkareaina neatand orderly condition.?

Perform other related duties as assigned or directed, which may require more than the normal shift hours or work week to meet company needs.? YOU HAVE:

Strong troubleshooting skillsnecessary, with the ability to make informed decisions.?

Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.?

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.??

Must be self-motivated, safety and quality conscious, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.?

Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints

Experience using hand and power tools

Prior experience working in a light industrial facility preferred

Heavy liftingrequired(up to 50?lbs).?? ?

Lift truck operator experience recommended.?
