Summary About the Position: The Military Entrance Processing Station plays a vital role in maintaining the nation's military might by ensuring that each new member of the Armed Forces: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force & Coast Guard; meets the high mental, moral & medical standards required by the DoD & the military services. Responsibilities As a Processing Technician (Office Automation), you will: Provide administrative assistance with transportation functions of moving recruits from the MEPS. Coordinate projected shipping dates and status with Service Liaisons. Conduct the pre-enlistment and/or the pre-accession interviews of applicants for enlistment. Enter data in Command automated system(s) to record applicant processing information. Maintain records of orders, distributes copies of transportation orders and enlistment contracts.
