Description

Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team in San Diego, California. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, resolving issues, and providing a positive experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for customers while supporting internal teams and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels

Provide accurate information regarding products, services, orders, and account information

Resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner

Process customer orders, requests, returns, and account updates

Enter and maintain accurate customer information in internal systems

Follow up with customers regarding open requests or outstanding issues

Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer needs

Document customer interactions and maintain detailed records

Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience

Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members when necessary

Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

1+ year of customer service, administrative, or related experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Professional, friendly, and solution-oriented approach

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple customer inquiries and priorities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

Experience working with CRM or customer management systems preferred

Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a high-volume customer service environment

Experience handling inbound calls and email inquiries

Experience with CRM, ERP, or order management systems

Strong data entry and documentation skills

Previous experience in a professional office or service-based environment
