This itinerant position offers approximately 18 hours per week, serving students across all grade levels. Responsibilities:
Provide individual and small-group art therapy services to students with a variety of social, emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals, when applicable.
Use creative arts interventions to promote emotional expression, self-regulation, coping skills, and social-emotional development.
Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, psychologists, administrators, and families to support student success.
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and service logs in accordance with district and state requirements.
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs and outcomes.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive therapeutic environment that encourages creativity and personal growth.
Follow all school district policies, professional ethics, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Perform other duties related to student services as assigned.
