As a Security Officer Medical Center in Newport, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal's caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Day Time

Mon03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Tue03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, access concerns, and emergency notifications.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

CPR certification is preferred.

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
