Location: Madison, WI

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

About the Opportunity
A growing organization is seeking a Customer Care Representative to join its customer support team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and working in a collaborative environment.
The Customer Care Representative will support customers by handling inbound calls and emails related to orders, product information, pricing, and account management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience managing customer concerns, and the ability to work across multiple departments to resolve issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound customer calls and emails regarding:
Order placement
Order status updates
Product information
Pricing inquiries
Process customer orders and requests accurately within the company ERP system.
Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Create and maintain customer accounts.
Troubleshoot customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
Collaborate with internal teams including logistics, supply chain, compliance, sales, and operations to resolve customer issues.
Monitor and manage email queues to ensure service-level goals are achieved.
Participate in daily team meetings and performance discussions.
Meet established productivity, quality, and customer service metrics.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of customer service, technical support, or related experience.
Experience handling challenging or escalated customer interactions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working with CRM, ERP, or other business software systems.
Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in order entry, customer support, or technical customer service environments.
Experience troubleshooting customer issues over the phone.
Familiarity with KPI-driven customer service environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
