Clinical Materials Handler

Job Summary

The Clinical Materials Handler supports laboratory production and R&D operations by managing the receipt, storage, tracking, inventory control, and distribution of clinical and laboratory materials. This role operates in a regulated environment and requires strong attention to detail, inventory accuracy, documentation practices, and adherence to SOPs and quality standards.

Must-Have Qualifications

Experience with inventory, materials management, warehouse operations, or supply chain support

Experience working in a regulated environment (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Ability to follow SOPs and detailed procedures

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications

Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of material handling, inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Experience supporting laboratories, manufacturing, or R&D teams

Experience with:

Cycle counting

Receiving and stocking materials

Lot/part number verification

Expiration management

Kanban inventory systems

Inventory investigations and reconciliation

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
