Responsibilities
Deliver grocery orders on foot within specific New York City areas, ensuring accurate and timely service.
Provide courteous and professional customer service at every delivery, representing the company's values and culture.
Pick and pack grocery orders in the warehouse using RF scanners and other scanning tools to ensure order accuracy.
Use smartphone applications and scanning tools to receive assignments, communicate with the team, and confirm deliveries.
Navigate city routes efficiently using knowledge of New York City streets and digital navigation tools.
Lift, carry, and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs safely and consistently throughout the shift.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining a high level of performance and safety.
Prioritize tasks and manage time independently to meet delivery windows and operational goals.
Collaborate with warehouse and office teams to support smooth, end-to-end order processing and delivery.
Complete required training and apply learned procedures, safety guidelines, and operational standards.
Demonstrate and uphold the company's values and culture in day-to-day interactions with customers and colleagues.
Essential Skills
Experience with warehouse picking and packing processes.
Proficiency using RF scanners and other scanning tools for order fulfillment.
Previous experience in customer service and delivery roles.
Physical endurance with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts as needed.
Clear communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with smartphone operations for communication, navigation, and task management.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
