Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Location: Reston, VA

Type: Contract

Compensation: $18/h

Work Model: Onsite - onsite

Hours:

Mon: 10am-5pm (occasionally Chantilly, if needed)

Wed - Thu: 10am-4pm

Fri: 10am-5pm (occasionally Chantilly, if needed)

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for the company, welcoming guests and visitors in a professional manner.

Coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

Perform daily walk-through of the office to ensure cleanliness of lobby and common areas including the kitchens.

Greet and direct all visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates, and customers.

Sign for packages and accept mail; coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx / UPS).

Monitor inventory and stock office and break room supplies.

Maintain calendars for conference rooms and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Perform administrative and office support activities including answering incoming calls and filing.

Assist consultants with copying and collating work, and help prepare presentations and handouts.

Coordinate meetings and set-ups, including food ordering as needed.

Handle special administrative projects from Accounting, HR, Security, and other departments.

Requirements

One year of administrative experience.

Friendly and professional demeanor.

Ability to work and excel in a team-oriented environment.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.

Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.

Ability to learn and adapt to change.

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
