Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Boston

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3 PM -11PM AND Saturday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations requiring attention. A concealed carry weapons permit is required for this armed post. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Tue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to the public, visitors, and personnel at a government transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned transportation facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and designated contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
