As a Security Officer Organic Market in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment for shoppers, team members, and visitors while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.48 / Hour

Mon11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.

Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report security-related incidents, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.

Support a welcoming shopping environment by providing directions, assisting with customer inquiries, and maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
