Customer Service Specialist - Healthcare Services

Location: Plattsburgh, NY (onsite 5 days per week NOT remote)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr (paid weekly) + benefits

Duration: 4-month contract-to-hire (long-term growth opportunity)

What You'll Do

Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist patients and healthcare providers

Process orders, verify documentation, and schedule equipment deliveries

Educate patients on financial responsibilities and insurance coverage

Review and enter information into EMR systems accurately

Obtain pre-authorizations and verify insurance eligibility

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

What You'll Bring

Familiarity with healthcare documentation and insurance processes (preferred)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
