What you will be doing?

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen's daily operations, managing kitchen staff, ensuring the delivery of top-quality cuisine to our clients, and meeting food and labor cost objectives.

What tasks are required?

Lead kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleanliness.

Maintain efficient and effective kitchen workflow.

Address issues promptly to ensure timely delivery of client orders.

Enforce strict food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.

Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee the highest quality.

Collaborate with the General Manager and owner to align kitchen operations with the establishment's goals.

Conduct monthly inventory management.

Cultivate and maintain vendor relationships.

Recruit, hire, and train kitchen staff.

Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and schedule necessary repairs.

What we need from you?

Preferred associate degree in culinary arts.

Minimum 3 years of experience in kitchen management.

Extensive experience as a chef, with additional roles as a sous chef or line cook.

Strong attention to detail and creative culinary skills.

Effective leadership in managing kitchen operations.

Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible for budgeting all kitchen items.

ServeSafe certification required within 3 months of employment.
