As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and assisting residents, visitors, and vendors with professionalism. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and help deter incidents through attentive service. Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Monitor and control entry and exit at residential community access points, verifying authorization and directing guests, deliveries, and service personnel in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.

Maintain accurate access-related logs, visitor records, and incident documentation according to site-specific requirements.

Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a Guard Card or license preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
