As a Security Officer Full Time New York State Patrol in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a shelter location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support residents, visitors, and staff through exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. Thur05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Fri05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the shelter location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and incidents according to site procedures.

Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
