Job Performance
Responsible for overall Supervision of production activities and
achieving production targets, yield and lead time.
Optimizes the machining processes in terms of consistent quality,
productivity, and calibration of tools.
Oversees program and setup of complex jobs on various manual and CNC
machines.
Responsible for development and implementation of appropriate cost
control and cost reduction initiatives within responsible functions.
Responsible for department planning and coordination of scheduling.
Oversee planning for new product development process, selection of
machines, tools, fixtures, and inspection methods.
Responsible for ensuring strict adherence of all company manufacturing
standards/methods and policies.
Responsible for development, justification, and implementation of
continuous process improvement initiatives in quality, productivity,
efficiency, capacity and safety.
Supervises performance, development and training processes to ensure
team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and
expectations.
Implements and developments of manufacturing processes and departmental
SOPs.
Maintains acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.
Must be willing to accept and receive supervision and instructions.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or
assigned.
Physical Requirements
Ability to adequately work with appropriate tools and equipment,
frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or
controls.
Must have Adequate mobility for stooping, bending, lifting, strength and
grip requirements necessary to occasionally manipulate and/or lift
products weighing up to 40 lbs. Frequently required to stand/Walk.
Occasionally required to sit. frequently required to reach with hands
and arms.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, and ability to
adjust focus.
Must wear Safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and
hearing protection must be worn in designated areas at all times.
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, heat and cold
temperatures vary according to season.
This position is considered a safety sensitive position due to the
manufacturing environment, moving machinery and forklift traffic.

High School/GED equivalent required. Graduate of a technical school in
related field of machining or sheet metal fabrication or 5 years
experience in such related fields. 3 years experience of managing staff
to accomplish scheduling priorities, purchasing requirements as needed,
and applying company policies.
