Superintendent of ConstructionOverview

Seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects from site work through closeout. This hands-on role focuses on subcontractor management, scheduling, safety, quality, and project execution within a structured, repeatable construction environment.

Responsibilities

Manage ground-up commercial projects from site clearing to completion.

Coordinate subcontractors and daily field activities.

Enforce safety, quality, and project standards.

Maintain daily reports, photos, and JHAs.

Develop and manage four-week look-ahead schedules.

Lead subcontractor coordination meetings.

Communicate project status, risks, and needs to project teams.

Review plans and ensure work meets design requirements.

Utilize established processes, checklists, and project controls.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.

Tilt-wall, tenant improvement, and general contractor experience.

Ground-up project experience from site work through closeout.

Strong subcontractor management and scheduling skills.

Knowledge of OSHA standards; OSHA 30 preferred.

Proficiency with Procore or similar construction software.

Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with retail, restaurant, medical, dental, or grocery projects.

Bilingual communication skills.

Work Environment

Fast-paced commercial construction sites with a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule performance. Supported by proven systems, collaborative leadership, and a consistent project backlog.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grapevine, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $52.00/hr.
