Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description
The Warehouse Associate supports daily shipping and receiving operations by accurately picking, packing, and organizing merchandise in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures orders are processed with high accuracy, inventory is properly received and documented, and products are prepared efficiently for storage and shipment while meeting productivity and service standards.
Responsibilities
Follow pick sheets to accurately select and prepare products for shipping.
Set up shipments by organizing picked items and ensuring they match order requirements.
Count, verify, and accurately receive merchandise from trucks and containers.
Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and condition, and report any discrepancies.
Sort, prepare, and organize merchandise for storage in designated warehouse locations.
Maintain high order accuracy when picking, packing, and staging orders for shipment.
Update purchasing or inventory systems with information on received goods.
Perform data entry to record shipments, receipts, and inventory movements.
Meet established productivity, accuracy, and service standards while working under time constraints.
Ensure all receiving, sorting, and documentation tasks are completed with high precision.
Handle materials safely and efficiently using appropriate material handling equipment.
Support shipping and receiving processes, including labeling, packing, and staging orders.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts if trained and authorized.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the warehouse.
Essential Skills

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment that is non-climate-controlled, so temperatures may vary with the seasons. You will work around typical warehouse equipment such as forklifts and material handling tools, and spend most of the day on your feet performing physical tasks such as picking, packing, and moving merchandise. The setting is fast-paced and focused on safety, organization, and accuracy, with clear productivity and service standards guiding daily operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duluth, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
