Job Title: Warehouse Clerk (1st Shift) ($18.00/hr.)
Job Description
The Warehouse Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by labeling products, assembling boxes, preparing orders for shipment, and organizing the work area according to work orders and instructions. This role involves repetitive tasks, moderate lifting, and the safe use of basic warehouse equipment in a small, family-oriented environment. Responsibilities
Label products accurately with stickers according to work orders and written instructions.
Set up the work area each day, ensuring all materials, labels, and packaging supplies are organized and ready for use.
Read and follow work orders and written instructions carefully to complete tasks correctly and on time.
Assemble and make boxes for packaging products.
Pack up orders neatly and securely to prepare them for shipment.
Stack boxes safely and efficiently to maintain an organized warehouse space.
Operate a pallet jack to move stacked boxes and materials around the warehouse as needed.
Assist with general warehouse duties and help in other areas when needed.
Perform repetitive tasks with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds as part of normal daily activities.
Contribute to a collaborative environment where team members support each other to complete warehouse and light assembly work.
Essential Skills
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely and repeatedly as required.
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
Comfort performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and consistency.
Basic experience with general production or warehouse labor.
Ability to operate or learn to operate a pallet jack safely.
Attention to detail when labeling, packing, and reading work orders.
Reliable attendance and punctuality for an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday schedule.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with packaging and order preparation in a warehouse setting.
Experience in general production or light assembly work.
Comfort working in a small team environment where everyone helps where needed.
Willingness to learn product lines such as abrasive products and related items over time.

Work Environment
The role is based in a very small, family-owned company with a total of about 18 people in the warehouse. The facility is split between warehouse and office space, with sales and office staff also involved in warehouse and normal warehouse labor and some assembly. The environment is described as laid back and not fast-paced, with a strong sense of teamwork and mutual support. Work hours are typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with two scheduled breaks at approximately 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and a one-hour lunch. The warehouse handles abrasive and related products, and employees perform standard warehouse tasks such as stacking boxes, using pallet jacks, and general material handling in a typical warehouse setting.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
