Job Description:
This job is responsible for serving in an active, client-facing role supporting banking and product partners to deliver analytical research and data-driven insights for commercial banking clients and prospects. Key responsibilities include contributing to and leading portions of client discussions, delivering economic updates, market and industry insights, pitchbooks and relationship reviews, and translating analysis into actionable solutions. Job expectations include direct client engagement, joint client calling, business development, transaction execution and ability to influence outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and team members across the bank to help prepare and/or deliver client presentations and support client deals
Participates in credit approval and treasury solutions processes to build knowledge of products, services, and related approval and packaging requirements
Manages coordination with clients/prospects and product and deal team partners throughout the course of a transaction
Analyzes market and industry data and delivers new business analytics to generate insights for client and prospect discussions, support portfolio optimization, and identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and facilitate decision making, and develop strategies to grow business using data and sales tools
Interprets and develops insights from financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends
Collaborates with domestic and international teammates including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management, and facilitates client relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services to design and deliver financial solutions
Partners with relationship managers to lead dialogue with clients and prospects on topics such as the client and prospect industry, alternative capital structures and awareness of tools and solutions
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of professional or business experience
Applies analytical thinking, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills
Demonstrates strong critical thinking and the ability to make decisions independently
Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possesses proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Maintains strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Understands and interprets corporate financial statements
