As a Security Officer Medical Facility Control Access in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare-related medical examiner location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a controlled environment for staff and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Wed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Thur04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
