As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Tue06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)

1+ years of Security Experience

18+ years of age

Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and public-sector stakeholders while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter locations, and other assigned airport property to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Monitor and report access control concerns, unattended property, suspicious activity, traffic or pedestrian hazards, and other security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and/or other designated contacts as directed.

Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
