Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Clinical Operations oversees Nursing Administrative Services, including House Supervisors and associated operations, as well as centralized and shared staffing resources that support multiple departments, including but not limited to Float Pool Registered Nurses, Patient Safety Attendants, Nurse Externs, and Patient Care Technicians and ED Holds The position supports hospital throughput and surg planning initiatives; ensures appropriate staffing, productivity, and budget management; develops and implements policies and performance improvement activities; and establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, and key stakeholders. As a member of the hospital leadership team, this role contributes to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and the hospital's public image.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) - ARC is required

Texas State (RN) Registered Nurse license or Compact required

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required - MSN within 18 months of hire/transfer

Minimum of 5 years' experience in acute or critical care area or setting

Minimum of 2 years management experience in healthcare setting preferred

National Certification Preferred
