Job Title: Warehouse / Local Delivery Driver Job Description
The Warehouse / Local Delivery Driver plays a key role in supporting the Parts Department by accurately pulling and staging parts orders, maintaining an organized warehouse, and delivering truck and equipment parts to local customers. This position combines warehouse operations with local driving duties and requires a dependable, customer-focused professional with strong attention to detail and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts and inventory in an accurate and timely manner.
Pull, pack, and prepare customer and technician parts orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Organize warehouse shelves, bins, and inventory locations to maintain efficient parts storage.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities to support accurate stock levels.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with company standards.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Assist parts counter personnel and service technicians by responding promptly to parts requests.
Deliver truck parts and related components to customers throughout the local service area.
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to prevent damage and ensure order integrity.
Verify orders and delivery paperwork before departure to confirm accuracy and proper documentation.
Obtain delivery confirmations and customer signatures when required and submit documentation as directed.
Provide timely, professional, and courteous customer service during all deliveries and customer interactions.
Follow all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety procedures while operating delivery vehicles.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks of delivery vehicles to ensure safe operation.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in warehouse, parts, delivery, or logistics roles is preferred.
Experience in heavy truck, automotive, diesel, or equipment parts environments is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally handle heavier items with assistance.
Forklift experience is preferred; current or prior forklift certification is a plus.
Basic computer skills to manage inventory, process orders, and complete delivery documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and tasks efficiently.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, packing, and documentation.
Effective customer service and communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external customers.
Ability to operate box trucks and similar delivery vehicles safely and confidently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with inventory control processes such as cycle counting and stock organization.
Comfort using material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse environment.
Experience delivering packages, truck parts, or related components in a local service area.
Ability to work collaboratively with parts department staff and service technicians.
Reliability and strong work ethic, with a focus on punctuality and meeting delivery schedules.
Capability to adapt to different shift schedules during the week, including weekday and weekend rotations.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment supporting the parts department, combined with local delivery work. You will operate in and around a warehouse, using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, and drive a sprinter van or box truck for local deliveries. The schedule includes weekday and rotating weekend shifts, with typical hours of Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 10:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m., and Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 10:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. The work involves regular lifting of parts and packages, frequent loading and unloading of vehicles, and consistent interaction with parts staff, service technicians, and local customers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
