Position Summary

We are seeking an ADAS Vehicle Operator to support the testing, validation, and data collection efforts for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicle technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating test vehicles, executing predefined test routes, monitoring vehicle performance, documenting observations, and ensuring accurate data collection in real-world driving environments.
This role requires strong attention to detail, safe driving habits, technical aptitude, and the ability to follow strict testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate ADAS-equipped and autonomous test vehicles on public roads and test tracks.
Execute assigned driving routes and test scenarios while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
Monitor vehicle behavior and system performance during testing activities.
Collect, document, and report vehicle performance data, anomalies, and test results.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness.
Assist with sensor calibration, system validation, and vehicle setup procedures.
Accurately complete testing logs, incident reports, and required documentation.
Communicate findings and observations with engineering, operations, and testing teams.
Support vehicle fleet maintenance activities, including cleaning, charging, fueling, and basic troubleshooting.
Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines at all times.
Participate in training programs related to ADAS technologies, vehicle systems, and testing methodologies.
Respond appropriately to unexpected vehicle behavior and escalating technical issues when required.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Minimum 3 years of safe driving experience.
Ability to drive for extended periods in varying traffic, weather, and road conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document observations.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry applications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and testing procedures.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with vehicle testing, data collection, mapping, or field operations.
Familiarity with ADAS technologies such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and parking assist systems.
Experience with autonomous vehicle or mobility technology programs.
Technical background in automotive, engineering, robotics, or technology-related fields.
Experience using GPS systems, mobile applications, and data collection tools.
Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and basic troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
