How you'll make an impact in this role

Accurately translate clinical encounters into standardized codes (ICD, CPT, HCPCS) and classifications (APC/DRG).

Act as a trusted partner to our clinicians by proactively reaching out for clarification when documentation is ambiguous.

Stay current with evolving regulatory guidelines and reimbursement requirements, always upholding the highest Standards of Ethical Coding as defined by AHIMA to ensure our practices remain transparent and compliant.

Maintain consistent, high-quality productivity in your work, ensuring that our coding and billing processes remain reliable, efficient, and supportive of the broader organization.

Conduct regular chart audits to identify opportunities for improvement

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
