Production Operator (manufacturing)

Job Details

Work Hours: 5:30 pm - 6 am / Rotational, must be available for shift work (8- or 12-hour shifts), including nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 plant environment.
Status: W2 contract under staffing supplier with 2-month (temp-to-hire)
Pay Rate: $19.25 / hr.
Location: Carrollton, KY 41008-9643

Education & Experience

High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.

Experience with Lean manufacturing (5S, TPM, WCM) and forklifts/mobile equipment preferred (training provided).

Key Skills

Technical: Basic Windows computer entry, reading measurement tools (micrometers, tape measures), and filling out written logs.

Operations: Able to operate automated machinery, adjust settings, conduct quality checks, and perform minor maintenance.

Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and commitment to safe work practices.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Physical: Frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs in a non-climate-controlled plant. PPE required.

Schedule: 24/7 plant environment; must be open to 8- or 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
