Position Title: Molding Operator I

Location: Greensboro, NC

Pay Rate: $19.70 per hour

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Position Summary

The Molding Operator I is responsible for operating and maintaining injection-molding presses, performing product inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This entry-level position plays a vital role in the production process, ensuring products meet customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain injection-molding equipment according to standard operating procedures.

Conduct visual inspections of molded products, ensuring quality standards are met per the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and mold book specifications.

Properly package finished products in accordance with packing process sheets.

Accurately complete all required production paperwork, including reporting on output, scrap, downtime, equipment issues, and labor hours.

Perform weight counting, fill totes, and label product to ensure inventory accuracy.

Transfer product between process steps as required.

Load and unload components into/out of molds, depending on equipment automation level.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

No prior relevant experience required; training will be provided.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.

Basic math and counting skills.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
