Aircraft Composite Lay-Up Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Composite Lay-Up Technician to build aircraft structural components using carbon fiber materials and composite manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for candidates with composite lay-up, vacuum bagging, or aerospace manufacturing experience who take pride in producing high-quality parts.

Responsibilities:

Lay up carbon fiber materials according to engineering drawings and work instructions

Perform vacuum bagging on composite parts prior to autoclave processing

Build aircraft structural components to quality specifications

Track and document materials used during production

Inspect materials and tooling for defects

Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and engineering prints

Use hand tools and support assembly and inspection activities

Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals

Handle materials safely and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

Experience with composite lay-up and carbon fiber materials

Vacuum bagging experience

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

Strong attention to detail and quality

Manufacturing, assembly, inspection, or aerospace production experience

Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience with MRP systems or manufacturing software

Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes

Comfortable using hand tools and computers

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Marysville, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
