Job Title: Construction Laborer - Weekend Shift Job Description
Join a highly automated, state-of-the-art modular construction facility where you support the production of top-quality, affordable housing. As a Construction Laborer on the weekend shift, you work indoors in a permanent location, using hand and power tools to assist in off-site volumetric construction while collaborating with a close-knit team in a positive, innovation-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with general construction and production tasks within an off-site volumetric modular factory.
Operate and use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently as part of daily work.
Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to 1/16" to ensure precise cuts and assemblies.
Support a stable production flow by helping maintain high up-time of factory machinery and equipment.
Follow established processes, instructions, and strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
Collaborate with team members to implement process improvements and contribute ideas for innovation.
Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and regularly lifting 50+ pounds.
Work within a designated department, assigned during the interview process, to complete specific construction and production duties.
Promote and uphold company values in all work activities and interactions.
Identify and communicate issues or obstacles in the production process and participate in problem-solving efforts.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately to 1/16".
Experience working with hand tools in a construction, production, or warehouse environment.
Experience using power tools in a construction, production, or warehouse environment.
Experience using pneumatic tooling in a construction or production setting.
Demonstrated ability to support and maintain a stable production phase and high up-time of factory machinery.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to self-start without constant supervision.
Strong desire to innovate and explore new ways of working within construction and production.
Ability to follow and implement processes, instructions, and strategies to improve team performance.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Background in general labor, construction, or production environments.
Experience working in a warehouse or similar industrial setting.
Carpentry experience or familiarity with basic carpentry practices.
Comfort working around automation, robots, and advanced manufacturing equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
