Job Description
This entry-level production role focuses on small electronics assembly for data center server components in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. You will assemble, inspect, and handle delicate electronic parts while following strict cleanliness and quality standards to prevent dust contamination and ensure reliable performance of advanced optical and electronic products.
Responsibilities
Assemble small electronic components and subassemblies for data center servers according to work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
Perform electronics assembly tasks involving chips, printed circuit boards (PCBs), soldering, and electrical connections with close attention to detail.
Use microscopes and other inspection tools to examine assemblies for defects, proper solder joints, and overall quality.
Follow cleanroom protocols at all times, including wearing a full cleanroom suit and adhering to contamination control procedures.
Operate on an assembly line and perform mechanical and electrical assembly using hand and power tools as required.
Read and interpret basic electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and work orders to complete assigned tasks accurately.
Conduct routine visual and functional inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards.
Assist with electronics repair or rework of assemblies by following guidance from technicians or engineers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with cleanroom and manufacturing standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production issues, quality concerns, and process improvements.
Follow production schedules, meet output targets, and support continuous improvement initiatives in the manufacturing process.
Handle general labor tasks associated with manufacturing, including material handling, basic documentation, and equipment care as directed.
Essential Skills
Manufacturing or production experience in a factory, assembly, or related environment.
Experience or strong interest in electronics assembly, including working with chips, PCBs, and electrical components.
Ability to perform soldering or willingness to learn soldering techniques for electronic assemblies.
Comfort using microscopes for detailed inspection of small components and assemblies.
Basic understanding of blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings for mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Ability to use hand tools and hand and power tools safely for mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
Effective communication skills to work collaboratively within a production team.
Reliability and consistent attendance to support production schedules and contract-to-hire consideration.
Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and wear full cleanroom attire for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Entry-level candidates with an interest in electronics manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with inspection processes and quality checks in a manufacturing setting is beneficial.

Work Environment
You will work in a controlled cleanroom environment designed to protect sensitive electronic and optical components from dust and contamination. All production personnel wear full cleanroom suits and follow strict cleanliness and quality procedures throughout their shift. The facility operates multiple 12-hour shifts, with day shifts such as 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and overnight shifts such as 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., scheduled across Sunday through Saturday in various A-F shift patterns. Overnight shifts include a shift differential. You will work with microscopes, hand tools, power tools, and inspection equipment in a production line setting, focusing on precision electronics assembly and inspection. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and adherence to documented procedures, with clear expectations around attendance, shift adherence, and quality standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
