Job Description
The Warehouse Worker plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient flow of products through the facility, from receipt to shipment. This position performs a combination of manual and automated tasks related to receiving, sorting, stocking, packing, and shipping products. The role supports timely and accurate delivery of inventory from vendors to internal and external customers, following clearly defined procedures and quality guidelines.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming products from vendors and sort items on the receiving deck according to established procedures.
Place received products onto conveyors and move them to appropriate storage locations.
Stock items by accurately putting products away in designated areas to maintain organized inventory.
Perform sorting tasks that are labor-intensive, handling items and materials safely, with lifting requirements up to 20 pounds.
Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards.
Support staging and transporting of products within the warehouse to facilitate efficient storage and delivery.
Follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and methods for all warehouse tasks.
Adhere to all quality guidelines to maintain accuracy and compliance in product handling and documentation.
Maintain any required licenses, training, and certifications needed to perform warehouse duties.
Complete routine and basic assignments under close supervision, seeking approval from a supervisor for any deviations from standard processes.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and resolve basic issues.
Use basic analytical skills to follow instructions, identify routine problems, and ensure tasks are completed correctly.
Essential Skills
Ability to perform manual warehouse tasks including sorting, unloading, stocking, and packing.
Capability to lift and handle items up to 20 pounds safely and repeatedly during the shift.
Strong analytical skills to apply basic techniques and follow routine procedures accurately.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with supervisors and team members.
Ability to work within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and quality guidelines.
Comfort working under close supervision with all work reviewed for accuracy.
Willingness to seek supervisory approval before proceeding with any deviations from normal processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
Ability to maintain required licenses, training, and certifications for warehouse operations.
Comfort working on basic and routine assignments in a structured environment.
Attention to detail and reliability in completing repetitive tasks accurately.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse facility in Auburn, WA that distributes pharmaceutical supplies. The position follows a swing shift schedule from Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Work is performed in a structured environment with established Standard Operating Procedures, close supervision, and a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.

The pay range for this position is $24.45 - $24.45/hr.
