As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol CPR in Detroit, MI , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: Starting Pay $19 / Hour increasing to $19.48 / Hour after 1 year

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, lobby areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, documenting and reporting unusual conditions or incidents to appropriate personnel.

Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift-related logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least two years of security-related experience.

CPR certification is preferred.

Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
