As a Security Officer - Warehouse Foot Patrol in Sparks, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and team members while responding to security-related needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior workspaces, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.

Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance, operational, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least one year of security-related experience.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
