Apprentice Service Technician / Warehouse & Facilities Support

Eagle Star Equipment is seeking a motivated Apprentice Service Technician to join our team. This position offers hands-on training alongside experienced industry professionals servicing commercial laundry, dry cleaning, wet cleaning, ozone, and textile care equipment throughout Michigan.

No prior industry experience is required. We are looking for mechanically inclined individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn a specialized trade. This position combines field service training with warehouse operations and facility support, providing a well-rounded career path within our organization.

Responsibilities

Assist senior technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial laundry, dry cleaning, and textile care equipment.

Learn electrical, mechanical, plumbing, steam, and troubleshooting skills through structured on-the-job training.

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and basic service work.

Complete service documentation and communicate professionally with customers.

Assist with warehouse operations, inventory organization, shipping, receiving, parts handling, and equipment staging.

Support general facility and building maintenance activities.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Participate in mentorship and training programs designed to advance technical and leadership skills.

Travel to customer locations throughout Michigan as required.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Basic experience using hand tools preferred.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to lift equipment components and work in industrial environments.

Dependable, professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
