As a Armed Security Officer Clearance Required in Palmdale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. Pay Rate: $28.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.

Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
