Temporary Tecnoflon QC Lab Technician
Position Summary
Perform controlled testing of Tecnoflon products produced at the West Deptford site to ensure they meet customer requirements before release for order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
Ensure Syensqo safety and IH procedures are being followed.
Sufficiently train and demonstrate competency in ALL test methods and tasks associated with the Tecnoflon QC lab, including the use of a 2-roll open mill for sample processing.
Prepare and test samples according to sample requests and/or product Inspection Plans.
Record test results promptly on record sheets, lab notebooks, and/or lab software.
Maintain laboratory records (electronic and hard copy) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and SOPs.
Operate and maintain lab equipment safely, including cleaning, calibration, and routine maintenance.
Complete all required operational and regulatory documentation as specified in SOPs.
Participate in safety meetings, JHA, HAZOPS, and incident investigations as required by the supervisor.
Maintain good housekeeping in assigned work area.
Practice open and thorough communication between Production and other lab personnel.
Ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Education/Skills/Requirements
Associate's degree; or 1 year related experience and/or training in the rubber industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication via e-mail, phone, record logs, etc.
Adapt positively to changing or non-routine situations.
Maintain professionalism in the workplace.
Detail oriented with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.

Must frequently lift up to 55 lbs. and maneuver up to 100 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required include color vision.
Must be trained in and physically able to use applicable PPE for specific hazards in the work environment. Typical PPE includes nitrile gloves, safety glasses, and half-face respirator.
