Job Title: Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate Job Description
The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate ensures that products are shipped and received according to schedule and customer specifications while maintaining accurate inventory levels. This role operates both independently and collaboratively, supporting inventory, logistics, and production activities to keep warehouse and production operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Create pick lists for all kits required for outbound shipments.
Prepare all necessary documentation and physically ship completed return material authorizations (RMAs).
Prepare all necessary documentation and physically ship completed sales orders.
Create, maintain, and organize all shipping documentation, including quality control records, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and other required forms.
Coordinate carrier pickups to ensure customer delivery requirements and schedules are met.
Issue required materials and accurately record all related transactions in the inventory system.
Support purchasing by arranging the return of defective materials to suppliers and ensuring proper documentation.
Apply best practices in packaging and handling to ensure products are delivered in pristine condition.
Receive daily inbound shipments and verify accuracy against documentation.
Receive and process RMA materials, ensuring proper identification, documentation, and routing.
Perform other warehouse and material handling duties as assigned to support operations.
Issue materials to production jobs in a timely and accurate manner.
Put away received materials into appropriate storage locations while maintaining organized inventory.
Conduct weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
Use pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely.
Perform picking, packing, and general labor tasks to support warehouse and production needs.
Use RF scanners and data entry tools to record inventory movements and transactions.
Assist with inventory control and inventory management activities as needed.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience with material handling, including loading, unloading, and moving inventory within a warehouse environment.
Experience with inventory activities such as picking, packing, inventory control, and warehouse inventory management.
Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and packaging.
Ability to use pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
Basic computer and internet skills to manage documentation and perform data entry.
Ability to use RF scanners or similar devices for inventory tracking.
Strong attention to detail with proven ability to handle multiple priorities accurately.
Good written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation for deliveries and pickups when needed.
Ability to work beyond an 8-hour day when required to meet operational needs.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks on a regular basis.
Comfort navigating stairs and working on your feet for extended periods.
Reliable and punctual with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in kitting, picking, and packing in a warehouse or production environment.
Experience working in fast-paced warehouse or production settings.
ERP system knowledge or experience using inventory or logistics software is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to maintain organization and accuracy in shipping documentation such as quality control forms, bills of lading, and commercial invoices.
Comfort working in a small office/production environment with close collaboration across teams.

Work Environment
The role is based in a small office and production area located inside a shopping mall, with approximately 15 employees in production and around 80 employees company-wide. You will work in a warehouse and production setting that involves regular material handling, kitting, picking, packing, loading, unloading, and inventory activities using tools such as pallet jacks and RF scanners. The standard schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break, with the flexibility to work past 8 hours per day when needed. The work is physically active, requiring frequent standing, walking, navigating stairs, and lifting heavy materials in a clean, organized production and warehouse environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
