Patient Scheduling Coordinator - Call Center Environment

Hybrid (On-site training, remote role) | Indianapolis | 8am - 5pm, M-F

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing appointment scheduling, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and demonstrates empathy and professionalism in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently.

Follow and reinforce all scheduling policies and procedures.

Communicate essential information for each scheduled appointment to patients and internal teams.

Audit and/or complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner.

Maintain high-quality standards while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment.

Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, peers, and supervisors on a daily basis.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of recent call center experience.

Strong customer service and data entry skills.

Ability to adapt to changing workflows or departmental needs.

High attention to detail, especially with data entry.

Strong verbal communication skills and ability to think quickly in challenging situations.

Demonstrates empathy and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
