Position Title:Cash Management Specialist 2

Business Unit:Small Business Banking

Reports to:Portfolio Management Manager-Small Business Banking

Position Overview:

This position provides support for intermediately complex small business clients by delivering treasury management and merchant services solutions. This role manages sophisticated business needs, demonstrates elevated grasp in payments, risk mitigation, and financial workflows, frequently acting as the escalation point. The Specialist 2 enhances internal capabilities by coaching partners, driving consultative sales strategies, influencing product adoption, and supporting enterprise initiatives that improve the overall client experience and strengthen the bank's position in the marketplace.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead Cash Management Conversations with Small Business Clients: Facilitate indepth discussions with clients on payables, receivables, cashflow efficiency, and fraud mitigation. Assess sophisticated financial workflows and recommend tailored solutions. Serve as the escalation point for advanced client needs and payment challenges.

Deliver Comprehensive CashManagement & Payment Solutions: Position a full suite of cashmanagement tools, including merchant services, treasury products, digital payment platforms, and fraudprevention solutions. Ensure clients understand and confidently adopt recommended tools while providing expert guidance on process improvements that support scalable operations.

Engagement with Branches & Cash Management Specialists: Provide handson coaching and skill development for bankers and Cash Management Specialists while joining branch meetings to discuss cashflow improvement, payments, fraud risks, and clientneeds assessment. Promote consistent sales behaviors, effective CRM use, and strong clientengagement practices across the network.

Support Growth of Client Relationships: Drive advanced outreach to identify highvalue opportunities in the small business segment, expand existing relationships by uncovering deeper needs and recommending broader solutions, and strengthen longterm loyalty through proactive followup and ongoing consultation.

Collaborating with Internal Partners Across the Organization: Partner with Branch Managers, Business Development Officers, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and other teams to coordinate strategy and support clients. Provide insight into client trends, risks, and emerging needs to influence decisions and product enhancements, and serve as a resource on complex payment topics.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Level of Education Required to Perform the Primary Responsibilities of this Position:

BA or BS

Experience in a related position

Knowledge and understanding of Treasury management and merchant processes is preferred

Licensures/Certifications Required to Perform the Primary Responsibilities of this Position:

Certified Treasury Professional - preferred
