4 . Provide general assistance to department faculty, and act as a liaison between faculty and students.
Refer students to proper faculty members, and alert faculty members to special student problems.
Attend department meetings and complete all the required training.
Meet with faculty to provide input regarding improving and enhancing overall lab course effectiveness.

5 . Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner.

Minimum Qualifications:
Post-secondary or industry certificate/diploma/degree or relevant licensure in Truck Driving; OR Relevant licensure in Truck Driving AND one (1) year of teaching /tutoring experience in Truck Driving at the high school level or above; OR Four (4) years of work experience in Truck Driving where no degree / certificate / diploma / licensure is required; OR An equivalent combination of education and work experience
Valid Class "A" commercial driver's license (CDL)
Valid Department of Transportation (DOT) physical health card
Must successfully pass a drug and alcohol screening.
Preferred Qualifications:
Effective communication skills, including the ability to sufficiently explain and assist students with successful completion of the truck driving program.
Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Karen, Karenni, Somali, Pohnpeian, French, Nuer, Anuak, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.
Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
