Job Summary

Job Description:

Compass Group, the world's leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as an Accounting Coordinator.

The primary role is providing support to the Field Accounting team while providing top notch internal customer service.

Responsibilities:

Produce and park centralized journal entry uploads weekly and at period end

Produce and park standard accounting entries weekly and at period end

Distribute SAP reports and other accounting reports weekly and at period end

Processing and mailing checks daily

Process Check-on-Demand requests

Process Closing Book Entries

Process daily AR uploads into SAP via an Access database

Track and resolve all Accounts Payable returned checks

Enter source documents into SAP

Create period-end entries for various chargebacks

Review and process errors from In Unit Accounting Systems into SAP

Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the management team, as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years experience in a professional office

Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel and SAP

Excellent customer service skills

Good communication skills, verbal and written

Ability to adjust to changing priorities

Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines

Must be a quick learner and self-motivated

Must be able to handle multiple tasks independently

Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
